Interfont, creators of the “valencia sound” remix Hectic by SDH

Julio Nexus, Interfront's alma mater, took his first steps into the world of music in the early eighties, armed with his analog synthesizers and a desire to experiment.

Many of his tracks created during the 80s are today classics of the spanish club scene thanks to his unique vision of understanding electronic music, mixing EBM, New Beat and Techno witha a pop sensibility. That’s also something we can say about SDH’s musical approach, specially in his single Hectic, from his latest album Fake is Real (Avant Records, 2023).

Specialized press defined Interfront’s peculiar style with the label “Sonido Valencia.” We can affirm, without fear of being wrong, that the music created and published by Megabeat/Interfront laid the seed of the techno scene in Spain.

During all these years Interfront's activity has been hectic. In addition to continuing to work on the production of new songs and updating some of their classics, the band has toured and shared stage with electronic music legends like Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Wolfgang Flür -ex Kraftwerk-, Terence Fixmer , Robotiko Rejekto...

Currently Interfront are Julio Nexus and Albert Pavía.
