"The name of this song comes from the house I lived in for a few months when I came back to Barcelona, before moving into a more definite flat: 12, Trilla St. My friend Patri let me stay at her place without having to pay rent, which helped me considerably at a time when I didn’t have a job, unemployment benefits or any other source of income. The apartment was falling into disrepair, with the dining room ceiling leaking to the point where it was difficult to spend time there. She hadn’t paid rent for months and the possibility of being evicted was constantly looming over us.
